Ministry Philosophy

Truth and grace are both bedrock ministry essentials and must always be bound together as the Lord Jesus exemplified and can only be accomplished in the power of the Holy Spirit. Ministry to others must be done in authenticity, humility, and transparency, pointing others towards our Great Hope and Savior. We must decrease and recede so Christ is glorified and we fade to the background leaving Him the due glory and not absorb what is rightfully His.

Personal Summary

I was born and raised in the Detroit, Michigan area along with my younger brother in a Christian home.

Though I grew up in a Christian home, I drifted away from church and God in college and my 20's, though everywhere I went from Michigan State to Australia to Officer Candidate School I was given little green Gideon Bibles.  In my late 20's I became a successful stockbroker but miserable and in desperation one night reached in my night stand and found a little green Gideon's Bible after a waitress had remarked, "I hope you get what you deserve this year" on New Year's Eve 1999. This troubled me greatly for months as God convicted me of my sin.  I read John and decided I've lived for parties, girlfriends, money, and myself and realized it was all selfishness and sin and was grieved.  I put my faith in Christ and repented of my sins and found forgiveness and peace for the first time.  I signed that little green Gideon Bible in the back and dated it January 19, 2000.  God then proceeded to turn my life upside down.

My wife, Elibeth, was born and raised in Venezuela and was converted to Christ as a young adult. We married in 2003 and moved from Michigan to Texas in 2011.  We have two boys ages 12 and 10 an two girls ages 5 and 1.  My wife home schools our four children in Classic Education.  We are members of and serve at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, TX where I also was Ordained.
